Default Looking for one week vacation rental in rural Connecticut for the week of July 25th

We are looking for a vacation rental preferably on a lake, river or any body of water with two baths, privacy, cable, internet access, and allows our well behaved 4 year old golden retriever dog. We have no kids and are non-smoking adults. We prefer northeast or southeast Connecticut. We will pay up to $1400 for the week/7 days. My husband is a banker and I am in the health field. We will pay cash up front. Hope to hear from you.

If you don't mind western CT, Candlewood Lake has some beautiful neighborhoods with decent beaches.
