Default Good Breakfast places in Fairfield County

Hi all!

So I have been here for a few weeks now (Ridgefield) and have not spotted much around for diners/places for Breakfast? Would like to know where are some good places to go, with kids? We have friends in Stamford and New Canaan so would like to know about anywhere in Fairfield County that are worth the drive.

Thanks!

Circle Diner on the circle in Fairfield on route 1 is pretty good. You can also get breakfast any time of day or night there. Another spot we like is the Westport Pancake House.

It isn't in Ffld County but a fantastic place for brunch is The Waters Edge in Westbrook, CT. Crepes out of this world!

King's in Newtown is famous for breakfasts, but it gets really crowded there. If you are interested in brunch, Silvermine Tavern in Norwalk is very, very good. It's also a popular place. They start serving brunch at 11.

The perennial favorite in that area seems to be Orem's in Wilton. I went once and thought it was good, nothing exceptional though. I've been to Blind Charlie's a few times(not recently though) and thought it was pretty good. It's located a mile out of New Canaan in Pound Ridge(Scott's Corner). Lastly, the Silvermine Market in New Canaan is a popular small "luncheonette" type spot off the beaten path. Parking is a PITA though.
