politricks is on a distinguished road
CT is known for great pizza. Try First Street Apizza in Seymour. Then try Roseland Apizza in Derby.

OK...Seymour does not have much for fancy dining... Pizza yes, First Street is good...Cucina Rustica in Oxford is better. Haven't tried the mexican place yet.

There is the Strand theater for movies on the weekends, Ice Cream at Whittemores(cash only),

Parks have music in the park Irish folk and Polish folk stuff (wish they had more modern blues), movie in the park at chatfield park. Parks have basketball courts. I think the tennis is at the highschool. Skatepark is downtown.

Lots of softball leagues.

There is no outdoor pools, the indoor pool is at the high school but you have to pay a small$ for a monthly swim pass.

They have parades throughout the year. The Pumpkin Festival is huge in the fall.

I've never seen what the hours for the historical society are, but there is one, you have to call if your interested.

I'm not one for antiquing all that much, but downtown shops are full of yesteryear if you like browsing, you can spend a day looking at all the stuff.

Go to Derby and do the river walk, it is not as scenic as you might like 'cause the river had to be reinforced after a major flood back in the mid 50's, but it is still a nice walk.

Have fun and enjoy, read the local paper and you'll find stuff.
