Default Willimantic: buses on Sunday evening?

This Sunday I would like to go to a concert at the Eastern University of Connecticut in Willimantic, but in the evening there don't seem to be any buses to Hartford or buses that go in the direction of NYC.

Does anyone know of a way to get to Hartford or another place that's on the way to NYC? Buses, trains, anything. I dont think I can stay on the campus all night and there don't seem to be any hostels in Willimantic.
Thanks.

I don't know the area well, but is there taxi service at all? Probably a little pricey but it would work. I'm thinking taxi from Willimantic to Hartford and then you switch to bus or train, not all the way to NYC.

Willimantic is not really well connected to anything, it's a small city in the middle of nowhere. There's no city/regional bus connection to Hartford, no train lines. I just looked up Peter Pan, the last bus out towards NYC is around 4:30 pm. There are a few cabs, but it would probably be a small fortune to get to Hartford.

I hope you have friends with a car that might be willing to join you. Or friends on campus. Or can make friends on campus quick. Willimantic is not a pretty city to be wandering around in at night.
