Tolland Connecticut
Thinking of moving to Tolland very soon. I would like to know how are the school, and what it like to live there? I am looking for a small town but still close enough to get to hartford for jobs and stuff. I live in Sc now,but I was born and raised on Norwalk, CT can anyone help??

Tolland was recently named as one of the best 100 places to live in America (something like that), so take it for what it's worth. It's right near I-84 too, about a half hour east of Hartford.
Someone else might be able to give more details than that.

Schools are good, IMO it's a bit further out there than one may think, but that may be a good thing for you.
What do you mean by "small town"?
Tolland is a nice town, but just so you know there are lots of towns in the Hartford region and East of the river that would fit what you described above.
Give us some more info on what you like, desire, dislike, price range etc and that will help direct you more specifically.
But if you have your heart set on Tolland, it's a nice town, somewhat rural, 20 minutes to Manchester 35ish to Hartford.

If one wants a real small town, you'll have to go further out and away from 84. Such as Stafford, Willington, Woodstock, Ashford.

Tolland is a nice community. It has good schools and many nice areas to live. As noted it is about 30 minutes to Hartford but note that most everything you will need is available in Manchester which is closer. Jay
