After living in Guilford less than a year, we unfortunately moved cross country due to a job transfer. It was a wonderful place to live and we hope to be back there one day! I am looking for professional photos of Guilford that I can frame and display in our new home in CA. Particularly photos of the town green in fall and winter.

I've done a web search, but haven't come up with much. When we lived there the local pharmacies sold Guilford postcards that had gorgeous photos - I wish I had thought to purchase one so I could contact the photographer before we left.

Any suggestions?

I was in Guilford today and checked in Breakwater Books for postcards. All of the Guilford ones were by the same photographer... Thomas P. Benincas, Jr. If you look into this guy and can't find something you like, I'd be happy to check any other stores you have in mind. (Three days a week I drop my daughter off at preschool in Guilford, and then have 2 hours to kill, so it's really no trouble.)

I have a postcard of Faulkner Island and it lists the same name.

If you are interested in custom photography, Steve Depino might be willing to do it. He is a Guilford native and would probably be glad to shoot some photos to represent the town. Usually he does high-end wedding and (apparently) fashion photography. I knew him in high school and he is a good guy -- talented, too.
