Default Household Costs for Brookfield

We are considering relocating to Brookfield, what are the approximate costs(Gas/Oil, Electric, phone/cable/internet, lawn care, etc...) for running a house with about 3000-4000 sq ft.?

There are too many variables here to properly give you an estimate. And there is also a difference for a 1000 square foot range. Your prices will vary depending upon age of your home, if you are thrifty, what service you use, what rate you get for oil etc. I would call a few companies and ask them for their advice. I know the electric and oil companies can help you with that.

When I represent a buyer, I ask the sellers agent to provide any bills of the sellers showing the heating/cooling cost as well as finding out if the sellers are home a lot or like to keep it really warm in the winter. I'm usually seeing specials advertised for charter (the cable provider in Brookfieild).

Internet, phone & cable can be had for $100/mth with the triple play, or you can have DirectV or Dish.
The electricity and oil will depend on your comfort level. The more toastier in the winter, the more $$ in oil. Think about using anywhere from 1000-1300 gallons of oil a year at $2.40. Same with the electricity, in the summer with the ac, pool, etc. in can run around 300 to 400 a month in the summer and 150 to 200 in the other months. You can burn wood in the winter, this can save you some money, but involves work!
