Default Bridgeport history

I'm looking for some historical information about Bridgeport during the Second World War. Namely Bridgeport Brass, Remington Arms, etc. Bridgeport is looked at so poorly these days, but its history is incredibly rich. Anything would help.

There are books on individual cities that you can buy at any local book store, even the big ones. I know they have them on Waterbury, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, etc. I would imagine there would be one on Bridgeport considering how important the city was to CT's economy during WWII.

They are complete with text and pictures and sometimes have 2 or more editions in the series depending on the city.
