Default can someone tell me more about Brookfield?

Planning to relocate back to the NY/CT area with young children...very interested in Brookfield. It looks like a great area, what with the lake and proximity to larger towns for shopping, etc. Highly rated schools and you can get a decent amount of house for $500,000. Can anyone tell me more about the town's "flavor" and other things we should consider before exploring further? Thank you!

Brookfield is kind of a small town with a lot of things going for it, like the shopping and a lake on 2 sides of town. Traffic can be an issue along Federal Road, and I'll be curious to see how the new bypass scheluded to open in a couple of weeks will effect it. There are a couple of parks. Town doesn't feel crowded, but there is a good amount of devolpment. Brookfield has everything from $175,000 condos to $2 million estates on either Candlewood or Lillinonah.

The Bypass has been a sucess. What a difference this has made to the traffic issues around the 4 corners.

Thank everyone who got this project done. This will definitely increase the value of homes in Brookfield.

Next major project - the Planned Brookfield Center in the Four corners?
