Hi, can anyone recommend a dog park? Within a half hour of Bristol preferably.
Thanks

Wethersfield has a good dog park. I can't remember the name of the street it's on but its about 3/4 off the silas deane highway.

It is located in Mill Woods Park which is on Prospect Street in Wethersfield. We have not been but we know people that go and say it is good. Jay

We go to the Wethersfield dog park and it's worked out well. Just make sure your dog is up to date on their shots and that they are registered with your town. They randomly check for dog licenses every now and then and will ask you to leave if your dog is not licensed.

Regarding dog parks, are most only for town residents bc my father and I took our dog to the Southington dog park on Mill St to find a sign that said "town residents only" or something to that nature. Is this the same for most parks?

I don't believe so. The Wethersfield and Granby dog parks are open to anyone, dogs must be licensed though.
