I think the equate New Jersey with the stretch of I-95 from Rutherford down to Woodbridge. Horrible oil and gas farms, very heavy industry and pollution. Millions of people pass through this area and think the whole state is this way. Outside of this area, NJ is very different. Jay

You're probably right. It is near the changeover from I-95 to the New Jersey Turnpike where one gets introduced to "that smell."

I'm basing it on that and the cookie cutter same neighborhood sprawl I see on TV and what I see, the ugly developements and industry off I-95 AND the Garden State.
