Default Not at all

Do you mean the transfer station off of Powder Mill? What neighborhood are you referring to...I don't know if maybe you'd see/hear it you are off RT 44/Mohawk drive area, but heard/saw nothing at all in Powder Mill Village....in fact, because we used Paines Refuse pick up we didn't even know it was there for a few years...it is way far off the road seperated by athletic fields and a landscaping place.

I live in that general area. I assume you mean the transfer station on Ramp Road off Powder Mill. I have never heard of any problems with it at all. In fact, few even know it is there (most people in Canton use Paine's).

Overall, if you are looking to buy property in Collinsville, you can't go wrong. Its a beautiful small town, great character and a great community atmosphere.

Thanks. and yes, i mean the transfer station on Ramp Road off Powder Mill. Also any issues with hunting ( bullets etc) that was opened up this year in the forest behind powder mill village. And yes, its a beutiful community.

ME43: What are the athletic fields for? Are they open to everyone? Also how much is the distance between the actual transfer station and powder mill village. Can not really guage that from google maps.

I don't know that exact mileage to the transfer station...maybe 1.5 miles??
That's the first I've heard of any hunting area near Powder Mill Village?? I do know that the development is bordered by acres of open space and Metropolitian District Commision (MDC)land...do you mean some kind of hunting on that land? I was never aware of that and had no problems with it???
I don't know a lot of detail about the athletic fields... but I often saw soccer leagues that some of the neighboorhood kids are in playing down there, I think there is a baseball field too, but not sure on that ...each year on the second weekend of June the Canton Volunteer fire department holds their annual "Jamboree" carnival on the area near the fields they have carnival rides and games, it's a great weekend to live in Powder Mill because they do a firework show on the Friday of Jamboree weekend and there is a great view from most of the neighborhood...lots of people have cookouts/parties that night and/or bring lawn chairs up to the green for a front row seat to the fireworks display.

I don't know that I would say "many" homes have been for sale... I did just look at realtor.com and it looks like two existing homes are posted, but they are both sold/under deposit according to there staus on realtor.com...the other listings on realtor look to be the builders advertisement for the remaining lots in the subdivision, homes haven't been built on these lots yet......also looks like the builder has a spec home for sale...it seems like the exisiting homes that were listed sold very quickly...not a lot of competition in that price range for newer construction in Canton/Farmington Valley area...

I haven't been following the market/prices in Canton, but I can tell you the Carriers do build a good quality home ...I guess it comes down to what you are looking for...if you want a new construction home for under 400K in Canton (or any of the Farmington Valley towns) tPowder Mill Village is pretty much the only subdivision out there...
