Not for me. That's why the quotation applies.

well currently in bethel:

we have a good couple inches on the ground, it was lightly snowing from about 8am, and started to pick up around 12, by 12:30 big fluffy flakes and by 1 the roads in downtown bethel were a mess!

so far since 12:30 its been constant snowfall, no lulls, and its still going right now.
im being told to expect 4-6 inches by the time its done for 06801, does that sound about right?
i dunno, were at about 4 inches already on the lawn of fresh snow fall.

It is still snowing out, though, so maybe it's mixed precipitation. Cars are only driving a little bit slower than usual (maybe 20 mph.) Co-workers are planning to leave in 15 minutes in anticipation of buildup starting around 3 PM--1.5 hours early.
You quoted me, you are further south than my dh was. He was up in the New Canaan/Stamford/Norwalk area. You might find as you leave for home that you hit heavier snow, if you head away from the coastline.

Sounds about right. Should be over shortly so you'll probably be at 5.

I'll take these little storms twice a week anytime.

Half foot is becoming little to us now. lol

Within 15 years 1 foot will be a small storm.

Within 100 years 2 feet will be a small storm. 1 foot will be like flurries.

It's about 4 pm right now, and nothing has happened out here. You can still see some blue-ish sky, it's not even mostly cloudy.
