In the last year have the housing prices in central CT (Meriden, Cheshire, Wallingford, Middletown) gone up or down? Since last Spring.

Like just about everywhere else in the country, prices of housing have come down over the past year in central Connecticut. Since last spring though I don't think it has been as dramatic as the previous year. I am sure there are statistics on this but I am not sure where you can get them. Jay

Prudential puts together pretty comprehensive market reports. See overall here and single family here.

I do watch condo prices in Middletown and have not seen a dramatic drop in prices there. The lower priced units seem to be where they were a year ago IMHO. Jay
