I have reported the last two posts, they are SPAM. If anyone signs up for Viridian through those links, the posters get a commission. Those are not general Viridian websites, those are personalized sales links with the salesperson's name in the top right corner. I was under the impression we can't post SPAM? But one post has been up over a week.

Yeah, these pop up every couple of weeks. The mods usually get in quickly, but not always. A good rule of thumb is that if someone posting a message has less than 5 or so messages they've posted then you definitely don't want to click their link. Makes me almost want the gov't to implement the proposed universal online identity program - remove trolls and troublemakers by forcing people to identify who they are. No more anonymity.

Jay,

I'm the one who started the thread -- and I've since switched over to Viridian -- so if you'd like to close the thread now, go ahead.

Thanks,
Dawn

Thanks DandJ - but I would only close it if there is nothing new to add or question or if the thread gets out of hand and goes too far off topic. Others here may have something to add or question so I will leave it open for now. JayCT, Moderator

Viridian is based in Stamford, CT.

Direct Energy keeps calling me. Are they a scam or is this legit?

I will simply on list the unbiased general website. It is from the Connecticut Utility Commission. You will see the different energy suppliers in your area on there. You will see the rates as well as the green comparison.
CT Energy Info
If you are switching suppliers in Connecticut check this out first and dont get hooked in to any company without doing your research.
:-) Dan

Flagged another one as spam.

Mods - I'd recommend closing this thread as it doesn't seem to be providing any new value, and it just keeps getting spammed by newcomers.

Oh, and if you do want to sign up for new alternative energy, go to www . PleaseGiveMeSomeFreeMoneyWhileISpamYourSite . com. (yes, a joke )

I agree that the spam on this thread has gotten out of control, so I am closing the thread down. Thanks to all that provided useful information. JayCT, Moderator
