Default Info on Farmington

I need some info, please.

What's it like in Farmington (schools, neighborhoods).

About how long would it take to commute into Hartford and what's the job market there like (construction project management, engineering).

It seems like a nice place.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Farmington is one of the most pleasant towns west of the river near Hartford- offering semi suburban living- with farms and woods. Downtown offers you the quintisential New England Main Street- Ms. Porters school is in town- the One Jackie Kennedy attended as a child. The town is not stuffy however- and has much charm. The schools are excellent. The are many upscale housing enclaves, Townhouses- but also reasonable priced homes as well. There is much in the way of recreation, ethnic eateries, and antique shops. Hartford and West Hartford are not far away in offering a bewildering amount of culture, shopping, entertainment and exciting eating out options.
