Does anyone know of any lesbian-friendly gay clubs around Enfield? Like in Hartford or Springfield? I know there are a few gay clubs, but they all sound very male-oriented.

Thanks! I just moved back to town and wasn't out last time I lived here.

Go to Northampton, MA. It is VERY lesbian friendly. There is a big club called Diva's on U.S. 5 right off the exit from I-91. It's mixed with males and females, but there are other places in the area I'm sure. In Northampton it is common to see lesbian couples holding hands in public. Also, the MSNBC talk show host Rachel Maddow lives there on the weekends with her girlfriend.

I'm a lesbian moving to Enfield soon for a new job. From these forums it seems that I am obligated to move to Northampton. I will certainly consider it as I rent in Enfield over the next year.

But aren't there clubs, bars, coffeeshops, or otherwise unspecified hangouts that attract lesbian clientele outside of Northampton? Or is Northampton basically a magnet that draws in all LGBTQ culture within a 100-mile radius?
