These last couple days of weather are God's way of reminding you of why you left.

Not from FL, but yes what happened to Spring? It was winter cold half the week and mid summer humid by the end of the week!

It's too early to put the AC in, but I contemplated it yesterday evening.

I ran my AC! No way I was going to be hot inside my own home. And, yes, I spent M-F last week in Tampa and it was disappointing to come back to this.

I actually get to stay in CT most of this month! Finally got a gig close to home! I just hope it cools off. Maine is sounding better.

I broke down this morning and put the AC on. The temp in our home was 75 and that was with the attic fan running all night. I can't believe I had to do it the first week of May but oh well, this is New England. Sunday is suppose to drop back to the 60's. We will see. Jay

I pretty much only need my A/C to make sleeping a little more comfy, but I don't the A/C in yet. I need to get a new one this year, which I think I will soon.

I loved sitting out in the sun yesterday though.

I had the most miserable night last night. My thermometer in my home read 90 degrees. UGH! My husband went out today to buy two window ac units. I was having flashbacks of Louisiana summer nights. ICK! Before I moved here everyone kept saying "you won't need an AC, the weather is not like it is here in the south" blah blah blah. Yea....guess they were proven wrong

Oh please, stop your whining. Doesn't anyone remember last spring...when we needed blankets and heat on until mid July.

I'll take this weather any day over that!

I have been waiting for you to experience some of our "low" humidity. You might not have meant people on CD, but I remember posters here telling you we don't need AC in Ct. I had a little laugh to myself, because I think it gets quite humid here in the summer, and often in the spring, too. I can't imagine going an entire summer without it!! We don't have it on yet, I'm not bothered by it at this point. I love the heat, and a few days of humidity I can handle. But come July, it will be on.
