I am planning to buy new home.
I recently moved to CT and haven't approached any real estate agent yet.
I am mainly looking for non-age restricted communities.

Are there any new home developments or communities within 20 miles of Hartford. If so where are they?

there are a number of developments but a lot will depend on where you want to live in relaiton to Hartford (north, south, east or west) and how much you have to spend. New construction is more expensive and the availability of good land (level with utilities) is very limited. Instead of limiting yourself to new construction, why don't you concentrate on finding a nice home in a good community near where you work. Jay

The Sunday real estate section of the Hartford Courant will have ads for most of the big subdivisions under construction. That's a good place to start.
