I am moving up in June and looking to join a RC church- I have been looking at websites etc. I figured out what church is the closest to me but now I would appreciate any first hand information if anyone has any regarding which parishes are more conservative or more liberal. I tend to favor a liberation theology approach, but since I have 3 children who need CCD I am open to just a nice community.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I love Our Lady of the Assumption Church in the Stratfield section of Fairfield. I have no idea whether they follow the 'liberation theology.' They seem relatively apolitical, as most RC churches in the area are.

Where exactly will you be living?
