Went driving around in Fairfield yesterday, open-house hunting, etc. We were trying to figure out parts of town. We liked Lake Hills quite a lot. We were a little confused at where Stratfield started and ended, but that being said, we found a home we really liked there. Does anyone know that particular neighborhood and was I getting the right impression of it? A few people were jogging, some walking, a family was all gathered outside a house for someone's graduation, not a lot of cars passing by. It seemed really like what we're looking for.

Thanks!

There are no real lines that separate different neighborhoods in Fairfield. Stratfield is generally considered the eastern part of Fairfield, north of Brooklawn Country Club (which most people refer to as the Brooklawn neighborhood) and sort of just west of Stratfield Road.

Brookridge and Merritt are very nice streets. Some refer to the area as Toilsome Hill too which is the name of the small hillside where it is located. I know several people that lived in that area and loved it. It is a very solid neighborhood. I think you will like it there. Jay
