Default South Winds and North Winds in Essex, Lyme Village in Old Lyme

I am unfamiliar with these areas of Essex, but they seem very nice on a drive through. Does anyone have any insights to share about either of these? What about the village of Old Lyme? The first two areas I mention are developments, and seem nicely laid out and quiet. Old Lyme village is older, but has a certain charm as well. Any information you are able to share would be most welcome!
