It was a little warm yesterday, but we didn't turn on the AC. Sitting in the shade, or indoors in front of a fan, it wasn't too bad. I'll take it over winter any day.

I'm in Michigan where it will be 87 degrees today. I'm sending everyone a virtual shade tree (those, we have lots of). Enjoy.

Thankfully the Tri-State area has a brief winter…but I see on the news every morning in the winter months the muti-car fatal accidents in places like Michigan, Minnesota, upstate NY…we had an aunt in Milwaukee who skidded off the highway and hit a tree - it took her a year to fully recover.

If you just take heat slow with cold drink you’ll be fine. A sunny 90 F day is far safer for getting around than a wintery day. They tolerated the heat/humidity for 200 years in places like Savannah and Charleston and they did fine (without AC).

Winter sucks. Period.

I can't say that I've ever been in a car accident due to snow or ice. As for the frozen pipes, I think you're taking it to the extreme (haven't experienced that, either). I do know that more people die from the heat each year than from the cold.
