I haven't used my GPS since May. When I updated it then, I lost all of my info I saved. If I update it now, will that happen again. Is there a way to auto-save my info on my PC~?

I dont know the answer but you dont have to update it so often. Once a year is enough i have found.

That would depend on the make/model... Shouldn't be a problem if it's a Garmin that was made in the last five years - can't speak for any other brand.

GPS makers have forums of their own. I recommend looking there for your answer. Mine is an older Garmin and I can copy my data to a PC then copy it back if I need to. Knowing how is the key and those forums are the best place to find the answer.
