I'm finally getting around to try transferring all my home vhs movies to dvd, but need instructions on the best way to do it, I want to be able to index the DVDs. Currently all I have is a dvd burner on my computer. My old VHS tape player died years ago, so I'll have to buy a new one. All ideas are welcome.

Google VHS to DVD. Lots of info on the net about the process. You will probably have to buy a software package to do it.

You need a Video Capture Device. Here's one Newegg.com - Mygica Video Capture Igrabber Nano USB 2.0 Interface

It includes everything you need to capture video to your PC.

That is another choice. You can spend hundreds and thousands for software, but this is a cheap start.
