I have a room where my computer is, I don't want to move it.
Am I right to assume I need to buy another computer to connect to the TV to do streaming to watch the Blockbuster or Amazon streaming? This would mean another DSL line going to the TV correct or just plug into DSL where the TV is and still need another computer?
You'd get a router which you can connect many devices too so they can share the internet connection and data. As far as streaming specific content to the TV that gets complicated if the TV is not set up to use these services.

Streaming is wireless? I think my DSL people wanted more $ for the wireless router which I'd need to purchase 2 along with another DSL line, tho some here mentioned about a year ago, I could purchase a wireless router elsewhere to be able to use a laptop in another room.
If you don't have ethernet port on your TV you'd need a device like the one NHDave suggested, that still has to be connected to a router.
The wireless router is no different than wired router except you might have slightly reduced performance which is negligible when comparing the router speed to the modem speed. They usually come with 4 ports so you could connect 4 devices to them, if you need to connect more devices than that you can either get a router with more ports or piggy back another router. The wireless routers also have wired ports. Also keep in mind the device that you are using will need wi-fi capabilities.
You don't need a separate DSL line unless speed becomes a concern, if that is the case instead of separate DSL line I'd suggest cable if available. keep in mind each device will be sharing the same bandwidth. DSL isn't that fast so if you have someone in one room streaming video on one device and someone else on another device streaming video both streams may end up buffering. This limitation is whatever the DSL speed is.
You shouldn't have to purchase or rent a router from your ISP. Matter of fact you can usually buy your own router if you're renting one, purchasing your own will pay for itself in a short time.
