The other day I was making some macaroni & one of the macaroni pieces fell onto the burner and burned onto it...

This is a thick GLASS stove.... I took a brillo pad and got the burned stuff off but the liquid in the brillo pad (THE SOAP??) left the glass kinda like a white grey colour.... I can wipe it off but when it dries it comes back.... Anyone know how to clean this crap off?? (Other times I have cleaned with a brillo pad it either doesnt come or goes away quickly)

Just wondering if anyone knows

Try 120-grit sandpaper on a random orbital sander.

Try using a glass cook top cleaner with a sponge. It is very similar to a very fine auto polish compound.

There is product called LA's totally Awesome I've found to work wonders.

If it's clear glass with no design on it the sandpaper is actually not a bad idea however I'd certainly wouldn't use 120. They make buffer kits for headlights, get one of them. Think the heaviest grit is like 220 and it works up to 3000 before the buffing compound. If the glass is scratched you can make it look like new.

Thats interesting..........

Thankfully it isnt really scratched it just has the film on it from the Brillo Pad soap..

Yes there is a slight design on the burners themselves as well as the whole top...
