Since I am not sure if Time Warner DVR is national I am asking you guys maybe you can assist me.

I only have used the DVR feature very little so I am not the best in understanding the way it works. I programmed it to record the series Amazing Race but I notice right now it recording but the show isnt on due to the game . Will it miss recording the complete show? Does it only record by time and not by show?

it records by guide. If a program runs over it will start at the 8pm window and run till the 9pm show begins. The best thing to do is bump up the overage time. I always record an extra 90 mins just incase.

I am so sorry for being naive on this but I am just getting use to the DVR remote.
What do you do program the next show or do you go to menu then DVR LIST, click on the desired series I want recorded then at at the bottom scroll to the right to series manager, then use select got to series manager then select record series options?
