Supersize-Me TVs

LAS VEGAS - Sure bigger can be better, but is it practical?

On Monday, Panasonic unveiled the world's largest plasma screen; at 150 inches, it easily trumps the last version, which was a measly 103 inches. And don't expect Panasonic, or any of its other competitors, to stop there. Panasonic made a bold statement by debuting a 150-inch model: At last year's Consumer Electronics Show, the Japanese electronics powerhouse rolled out a 103-inch model, a mere 1 inch larger than the 2005 models from competitors Samsung and LG. This time, Panasonic isn't just trying to keep up. It's supersizing television screens.
