LCD Flat Screen TVs
I am looking to purchase an LCD Flat Screen TV
Specs:
47"
Flat Screen (for over the mantle)
No more than $2,000
I have checked cnet.com, does anyone know of any other sites that do ratings?
Thanks in advance!
Matt

I can tell you Consumer Reports ranks the top 5 46" to 47" models as follows:
Sony Bravia KDL-46XBR5 MSRP $3600 .
Samsung LN-T4661F MSRP $2200
Samsung LN-T4671F MSRP $3200
Sony Bravia KDL-46W3000 MSRP $2500
Mitsubishi LT-46133 MSRP $2600 77.
I can tell you that for big-ticket items like an LCD TV, I have had great luck with buydig.com out of Edison, NJ. I've bought a 40" Sony Bravia and a 40" Samsung through them within the last year. No problems with either one and no BS from any salespeople, either. Street prices of the Samsungs are less than CU shows:
If you want the full 120hz refresh rate, go with the LN-T4671F, for $2,089.
If you really need to keep it under $2k, go with the LN-T4665F, for $1,849, but it has a lower refresh rate. Still a fine product, though.

Don't forget to check Sam's Club and Sears. We bought a flat screen from each of these places, in brands we never heard of, but they were the least expensive and they have both been trouble free.
The name brands are not going to be in your price range.

Check out the prices on an Olevia tv. They're pretty inexpensive but great quality.
