The sound seller is selling three of them, where as the one on Amazon is just that one. Supposedly, these are collectors items, as they were basically the first "mp3" players on the market.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That said - just becasue someone lists something for a price, it doesn't mean the product is worth anything near it. That link was also mentioned in another article - Turns Out The Discontinued iPod Classic Is Worth A Lot Of Money Online : T-Lounge : Tech Times

And based on when that article was written, the iPod was listed at 30K. Guessing no one thought it was worth that much.
