I'm looking at security cameras for my apartment. Not really wanting to wire through out the apartment. Maybe 1 to 2 cameras for front door. I'm really interested in getting alerts to my cell, so I can view inside my apartment. It seems that Nest and Drop Camera are very popular. I'm impressed with the resolution and see it being used on news broadcasts. The monthly fee to record inside my house to Cloud is reasonable. The major problem I'm reading is Nest sends out mobile alerts every 30 mins. WTF...My stuff could be stolen and already sold at the local pawn shop in 30 mins. User reviews are stating there is no option to change the alert frequency and Nest tech support said it takes too much bandwidth to increase the alert frequency. Does anybody know if this has been corrected or recommend a camera within the $200 price to meet the above needs?

I have a nest camera. Actually, I have two of them. Anyway, the mobile alerts are sometimes almost instantaneous. Other times, they may be delayed for five or 10 minutes. It doesn't make much sense but that's the way it is.
