My family and I will be taking an upcoming trip that will be six hours of air travel and an hour or so of layovers, each way round trip.
I have three kids (7-13), each with their own electronic gadgets & video players/tablets.
As I am hoping to have a stress free flight for myself and others around us, I need to pick up some noise cancelling headphone for all of us. (DW doesn't want any)
I have used NC HPh in the past and have had ones that are terrible. They may cut out the ambient hum of the airliner but they never seem to be loud enough.
Can anyone recommend some halfway decent noise cancelling headphones for perhaps $25-$50 each?

I have these and I've used them for trans-Atlantic flights (10+ hours). They're good but if you have a big head, they can get tight and uncomfortable (after 10 hours).
I absolutely hate the inner ear headphones. The "cupped" headphones are the most comfortable to me. I found a pair of Sony headphones for about $20 on Amazon that are absolutely fantastic!
