I am new to this forum, and I would like to know if someone can help me, I have this rechargeable lamp and after some time my lights went off and I went to switch on this lamp and it didn't work, I tried to change the fluorescent without success.
Can someone give me an idea what went wrong or give me a website where can I search to repair it?
First guess would be the battery wasn't charged or it was bad. As you have provided no useful information on the lamp itself it would be hard to recommend anything.
Rechargeable batteries, regardless of their technology (NiCD, NiMH, lithium ion, etc.) have a finite number of recharge cycles. Possibly these are now exhausted.
Just noticed you had a brand name in the subject, a search of which reveals... nothing useful that I could find, must be some off chinese brand, in which case, toss and replace with a better quality light.
Thanks NHDave for your reply, about the brand I don't know I just went to a shop and bought an emergancy light, I will try to test the battery if it is bad, about to provide useful information, I have checked the manual and there is nothing technical of importance, if you want me to check something from the unit please advice.
