Can I set up your generic 5.1 or 7.1 Surround Sound Amplifier to out put the same sound on all either 5 speakers or 7 speakers.? I hope that's simple enough. I am trying to use a store bought Sony 7.1 Surround sound amplifier for my garage. I have ran and installed in wall wiring and speakers but I feel it won't sound right to have the "surround sound" I've done research and I think setting it up for "Mono" is the trick, but I know basic's about home theatre stuff but nothing like a pro. Again I want the same sound (even if it is not the same output of power or wattage) I Just don't want to be on my right side of my garage and only hear one thing different than the other side. What do I need to buy to do what I am trying to achieve?!?
