I did, thank you. I sincerely doubt I'll pay even that much - I'm sure that between now and Black Friday I'll be able to scrounge some coupons/price matches together.

$140 is a good price. You get what you pay for. I swear every sub-$99 All In One Wireless printer I've ever bought never lasts. Pony up the extra few bucks. That's a winner. Do you want cheapo, or good?

I want good, but cheaply. What I meant above was that I'll probably be able to score this printer for around $100-120 with some creative gift card purchasing or BF (or around BF) coupons and discounts.

Buy a buisness model printer if you want it to last. They cost a little more, but last a LOT longer. I've had good luck with the Canon PIXMA MX line and the Epson WorkForce line.

I would check prices on the ink before even considering buying a printer because some manufactures will really ********* on ink. yea we all know that ink is the most expensive liquid that a man can buy!!! i just bought an HP 8710 and i have had no problems with it and it's easy on the ink and it's a full function machine and it's from there officejet lineup wich is better than some of there product line.. now the main reason i bought the 8710 is because i am not using the manufactures ink i am using a continuous ink system on mine and after doing the research this model came up as being compatible with a continuous ink system wich is far cheaper than buying ink from the manufacture at criminal prices but in time you'll recoupe the cost of the ink system and the printer

Agreed. This is why one of my requirements is that the printer be third party ink-friendly.

I bought a standalone scan snap sheet feet scanner and never looked back. My printer only has to print and I bought a nice HP color laser.
