Needed for a hobby (security) project.
Assuming I have three video inputs.
One of them is always *on*, but is also triggered to on by a 12 vdc signal.
How can I, with a 12 vdc signal change the video input from the *always on* to one of the other incoming signals ?
!2 vdc signals are coming from a motion detector circuit.
I am not looking for a mechanical operated switch !
I am not an electrical engineer so my schematic may be wrong ?
Do you want to build one or are you looking for an off the shelf product. Since you are not electrical engineer, I assume the later. Off the shelf, you may want to try something like this. Since you are dealing with 12vdc, you will find what you need with stuff related to backup camera/etc.

If you want to build one, this sort of stuff can be done with Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
That looks like exactly what I need !! Thank you !!
Would anybody know what is inside the box ?
The size of the box seems to suggest some kind of solid state thingy ?
Some kind of bus switch ?
BTW, I am not an Electrical Engineer but do understand some Electrical principles ...
I am always interest in being able to *build it myself*
Using Arduino or Raspberry Pi, what should I put in the search bar ?
Besides *video switcher* ?
