When my Epson, NX 110 printer is running low on ink, it displays a red light. That I know. However, what it has been doing the last two days is new to me. What is it saying? As the printer is warming up, the green light and the red ink-indicator light are flashing "maddeningly" When the printer is warmed up and ready for use, the green light settles down to its regular pulsing. The red ink-indicator light goes off completely.

So, is my printer low on ink or not? Has it always done this and I just not noticed? True that I do not stand there and watch it warming up but I'd think I'd have noticed the flashing at some time over the years.

Can someone please explain the antics of the red ink-indicator light? Thank you.
