I want to download some MP3 files for my son to take when he goes to Rome.
Found a site with lots of free walking tours of the Colosseum and other sites.
He does not have time to do it--
but I don't have an IPod or MP3 player so have never done it before
have some questions that could not find answers by Googling--
1) if a walking tour takes basically 30 min or an hour or more--how long does it take to download it...
2) can I make a big folder on my computer of these MP3 files and then email them to him at one time to download to HIS IPod?
I have cable internet--how long would emailing a big file like that take?
Can we do drag and drop if he brings his IPod over before he goes to Rome?
3) are there any tricks to making sure what I hear and save are transferred to his IPod w/o problems...
4) can ANY MP3 file be uploaded or downloaded to an IPod--I think we got him the 8 MG video for Christmas...do I have to do any kind of "transforming" them into an IPod friendly format?
