Any in particular? I know it can hold up to 128 gb unless there's a new update/firmware that is able to be downloaded to get a bigger capacity.

But any particular brand? Or which would work with the mp3 player? Meaning, brands like Sandisk. I just don't want to buy wrong one.

Don't purchase the no name cheap ones available on ebay (they are fake). Stay with any of the name brands available at retailers.

When I was looking up what brands to use to see if I could find anything, I saw articles pop up saying to not go to websites like ebay because some may be fake. So I stayed away from ebay and similar sites, and started looking at retail websites.

Amazon and B&H Photo have been good sources for me. Newegg used to be good, but now that they're more of a storefront - listings from a lot of poorly known third parties - I tend to avoid them.

Ebay is just fine. I've bought many different products on ebay and never had any problems with anything being fake. In any case, just buy the best product at the best price and be done with it. It's just an MP3 player. It it works it works. This is not critical data we are talking about here. As far as reliability, all flash memory is prone to failure at one time or another but yes go with a name brand. I don't know your budget but at this time but about $50 seems to be the going price for the 128gb.

Sandisk is a popular brand. Here's one for $45

Note too that the more expensive cards are faster, which does not matter for your application. It matters mostly for video.

I am boycotting Sandisk products I think their quality is a little suspect. I had a MicroSD and a Solid State Drive go bad in the same year and they were both relatively new. They were both SanDisk products. If it was just one or the other I'd maybe give them a pass, but 2 products within the same year from the same company is pretty rare and eyebrow raising.

They ALL go bad. I've yet to see one that didn't. Do you remember floppies?
