Error on picture manual claims 1 A/V and s-video output and not 2 inputs of each

I want your opinions.

Say with me only if critics are good, "/ me go build the best HTPC and microsoft go cry"

Would make a nice MythTV front end

But, I don't think I'd use that for audio. 5.1? If I'm paying more than $2k I'd atleast expect 7.1, preferably 7.1 + 2.1 or some such to use it for multiroom audio. Case is awesome though, wouldn't mind having that just to build my own out

I agree with you the price gradient is high.
MythTV front end you are right this would make a lovely HTPC.

Alienware is reputable but the prices are steep.

/me go wait may be longer for clones

It reminds me of the Hannibal DVR which came pre-installed with MythTV and sold for about half as much in 2006.

No, the company went belly up early last year because the owner had more orders than he could maintain a supply of components to fill.

I had planned to order one, but was glad I didn't since stories online said that he left a lot of people who had placed orders high and dry.

Does the owner not understand the concept of lead time?

And, the logo looks like its an alienware.

I have the impression from what I've read online that the Hannibal DVR maker was a verrry small company that wasn't able to scale its business to the level of the demand for its products.

Poor business planning then.
Thats gotta suck when applying for a loan or a new job or something.

"So, why did your business fail?"

"Well, demand for our product was too high."

"You mean too low, right? Not enough money to make ends meet, right?"

"No, I mean too high."

I work at 2 small businesses, both less than 20 people. There is no way that in either one, we could be overwhelmed by demand.
