I've been OK with Vizio, although our 70 inch in the living room has white stuck pixels that keep growing and multiplying. A bit annoying. We bought the TV in 2014 I think it was. So, we've owned it almost 4 years (bought it the week after the Super Bowl in February that year.) My wife's 32 inch Vizio still works great. We gave it to her parents for a spare bedroom. 720p, but still a great picture. Same for the Toshiba in our bedroom. 32 inch 720P, but perfect picture. I've had that TV for 10 years.

I'm thinking TVs, in general, are almost made to be thrown away after a few years. Especially with heavy use. The one in the living room is used every single day. More so, now, that we have a little boy who must watch his kid shows everyday. When we go to replace the TV, we actually will probably go down in size (I know, never say that) just because I want it moved off the wall it's on right now and over our fireplace, which doesn't have enough room for the 70 inch. Seems like a more natural location for TV viewing.

Over a fireplace? That's the DUMBEST trend I've seen in home entertainment in the last ten years!
