I've been looking at them at the Apple store recently, and I think their really cool. I've pretty much already got my mind set on getting one. However, there is one thing that keeps bugging me. If I get an iPod Touch now, will Apple introduce an even SLEEKER and BETTER design soon? I mean I know they will eventually, but is it even worth it? For any of you that may have one, could you just please tell me your overall opinions about it? How cool they really are, and if they are still as cool after you buy it, and have had it for a while?

THANKS!

Yes, that's always the case. The new ones have larger solid state drives (hard drives). But you can always wait for a newer and bigger one to come out, and then buy the one being replaced by the new one-at a lower price Keep in mind that you can use an iPhone to do the same, plus the ability to make/receive calls, and even take pictures with it. The iPod Touch limits you to music and online use only (including E-mail), but it's a great little toy that does neat things (the same things as the iPhone, except for telephone and photo-taking).

they alwase do that, I would wait untill they do a price change on them, they are very expensive right now.

case in point
329 for my Ipod classic 80gig
499 for an ipod touch 32gig
t
the difference in the ipod touch and the iphone is well... the monthy cost of the cell phone, and the capacity, which is limited to the 16gig i think at the moment.

I heard that they were going to lower the price of the 8 gig this week 100 bucks to 200 instead of 3.

-80GB iPod Classic costs costs $249.00
-8GB Nano $199.00
-4GB Nano $149.00
-8GB iPod Touch $299.00

Then there are the 16GB, and the 32GB Ipod Touch, and these two cost much more. The 8GB iPhone, is also cheaper than the new 16GB iPhone.

i have one! i love my ipod touch, if you buy one at target - you can pay an extra $17 and then if apple ever comes out with a next generation one , or u break yours, you can bring it to target n they will replace it with the newest one! so i would suggest doing that, get the ipod touch at target,
