I have been using OTA antenna in the attic that I got from Solid Signal and then got a DVR with hard drive to record shows. I Hate the idea of paying for TV. Well, for some reason, I am not able to pic up stations that I was getting and debating whether to bite the bullet and get dish or cable. Have Time - Warner here and everybody seems mad with them. I really don't want something complicated as we usually only watch network shows. We already have ATT U verse for phone and Internet so may check with them first. BTW, we have only a 25" HDTV as main TV . 19 " in kitchen. Advice?

P.S. I got an amp for the antenna recommended from Solid Signal but still not picking up all of the standard OTA stations.

I pay $100 for cable TV and Internet, the internet is fast enough 105 mbs. The cable includes some premium channels. I watch Netflix, so I have no idea what premium channels I got. My cable company is also offering a triple play for more money. But my Internet connection is $80 alone.

People are paying 175-190 for Triple play with good internet and a phone service.

I have not used a home phone number in over a decade.

I decided to just drop cable. I now only have internet and phone. I get 13 channels with my antenna. I pay $117 now. Still too much but what can you do?
