Hello, I recently just purchased the Vizio "V-Series" 5.1 home theater soundbar.

I absolutely love it after hooking it up. Per the below photo, the system came with 2 smaller speakers used for surround sound. I was wondering, is there a way to add more of those small speakers? I don't know if I can find any from Vizio, but is there another brand out there that could somehow connect?

I am assuming no on this, but wanted to ask to see if any tech wizards out there knew for sure.

Thank you!!

You are correct: No. Nor should you need to. Adding more would just get in the way. It's designed to work with those for true surround.

it appears to have no way to drive additional speakers and you just cannot wire them in willy nilly. most of the surround stuff today is 3.2ohms and putting in parallel gives you 1.6ohm and not many amps will survive that....

You're assuming this is wired. I'd bet it's wireless - in which case, there isn't a way to add regardless.

If you want more speakers than a 5.1 system, you use a dedicated 7.1+ system. You'd don't just "add" extra speakers - I.E if you have a 5.1 amp, you're not adding a couple extra speakers in there.
