Its not that it seems slow it is probably tour computer because i know alot of people who say it works fine.
Oh, well that proves it, then. You know people who say it works fine. Never mind that it's slow on each of the three computers we use it on.

Its not difficult to change information just right click the song got to get info and click the info type and change the information.
It's a pain and it takes longer than it should to change info for multiple items. I would like to be able to tab quickly from one field to the next and change data - it's just too slow the way it is, and it's not just my computer.

You can get album art for all the songs at the same time just go to your library go to advance and click get album artwork for some albums it wont get it because the name of a song or album , etc is different from the city (example: album on the cd says artist name featuring somebody but on itunes it just has the name of the artist.
There are quite a few of my songs that it can't find artwork for. Or that I can find artwork for, but the point is that it can be difficult to change artwork for multiple items at a time. I can do it for the song that's playing at the moment, but if I try to change artwork for multiple items it often messes up.
And that's not to mention the other flaws in the program. It's slow overall, it hangs, it crashes. It's ugly to look at. It uses low-fidelity encoding for mp3s, which affects sound quality. The ipod automatically starts to sync when it's plugged in, which causes the app to hang., and forcing you to sync twice if you want to change the files on the ipod It uses a ton of CPU when it's running. It doesn't update the library from the folder it's in, so anytime I put new music in my iTunes folder I have to manually enter each song into iTunes. It's not the end of the world but it could be a far, far better program.

I still think its your I never have this problem.

I dont know anything about it being slow,I never had an experience when it crashed, Its not ugly i dont know what you consider good looking. It does not use low fidelity and you can change that just go to edit> preferences> advanced> importing. You probably didnt know you can customize itunes using preferences. Why would you put your songs in the itunes folder. You put on itunes and it appears in the itunes folder. You dont have to do each song manually. If you put cds on you import them with itunes if you already have songs on the computer in itunes you go to file then add file to library (if you have the songs together you can highlight all of them and then you can add all of them).
Sorry dude, I stand by everything I said. Obviously you love iTunes. I don't. It's a slow, buggy program on Windows. I have to wait about ten seconds each time I change the artist name on a single song while it works. Plenty of people are beefing about iTunes on Windows, not just me.

Wait how come you didnt even give any suggestion or what you think is better. Otherwise you still think ipod is better than any other mp3 player
I really like the iPod (my iPhone, actually) but I can't stand iTunes. It seems really slow to respond and it's difficult to change information about individual tracks, such as song titles, artists, albums, etc. I have a hard time importing album covers for more than one song at a time, and the app hangs up and freezes more than it should.
I haven't tried to purchase or download music using it, so maybe it's better at that than it is at ripping CDs, but I'm not impressed with it. I have not tried a Zune, but I like the idea of being able to sync with an SD card.
Speaking of Itunes. Has anyone downloaded any of the free things that are advertised on itunes. I have been wanting to download some of the free stuff, but I think they might be sneaky and charge for the download, but not for the product itself. Anyways, has anyone dowloaded some of the free stuff?

both of my kids have a zen. it is by creative. my college age son had to research a product for a high school class a few years ago, and discovered this company. he said it was better than an ipod and less expensive.

Yeah that makes sense, since the ipod only garners OVER %70 of the mp3 player marketshare
