aside from that hurting my head a bit to read, hah, personally, i wouldnt bother buying a projection tv....they're heavy, take up a lot of room, and in my opinion, can be kind of an eye sore to look at. I've NEVER been a TV snob....have been using a 36"tube tv I bought on CL for $75 two years ago, but finally decided to buy a decent TV but made sure not to impulse buy and really look around for the best prices and reviews! You can get a good flat panel tv for about the same cost as a projection tv (especially on the website you mentioned)....i just bought a 50" panasonic plasma tv two months ago on dells online website for $620 + free shipping and handling! VERY happy with it!
This is the TV I bought...and was able to haggle the price with the sales rep on their 800 ordering line: Panasonic Viera TC-P50X1

I wouldn't buy a projection TV now, too big, needs frequent calibration, more chance of burn-in. I also wouldn't buy a 720P TV, if you're going to get a decent size new (flat) TV make sure it's 1080P (full HDTV Resolution).

I would say no - not because there may be something wrong with them but because the prices of large lcds and plasmas have gotton so much better - why get a bulky thing that may not be 'all that' in another year or two (if not already) when you can get a 46" 1080p lcd for under $900 with shipping included?
