You know the TV and computer screen that changes color when you push on it? (I hope my husband doesn't read that I did that. ) What are they called.......I don't know but they are not glass!

My question is how to clean the finger prints off of it. (From my kids, not me!) Windex just gets all streaky and beads.

LCD

Purchase a cleaner that is specifically made for cleaning them. Any computer store or Best Buy, etc.

Don't spray directly on the screen. Spray a clean soft cloth to damp then wipe the screen. Wipe residue away with a clean dry soft cloth.

YES!!!! LCD! Thank you. I did know that.

Should the towel be like toilet paper soft? Or those leather shammy things they make for polishing cars? I assume no paper towel or tea towels?

Thanks!

I use all-cotton 12" squares I get at Sam's club. Wash before using, they have a film on them. Dish towels are good also.

There are also some specialized cloths for cleaning screens that are "toothy" (don't know what else to call it) for dusting, but they won't get rid of finger prints, etc.
