FFG is not a gated community. I have not seen any gated communities on Putnam or Cumberland Counties.

I wouldn't call that a "gated" neigborhood. You do not need to go thru any security to enter. Any one can drive right in. It has the ability to add gates if they wanted, but there are none there now.

That's funny. I never noticed that. I thought it was a little strange seeing a "gated" subdivision in Cookeville anyway.

I see little need for a gated community of any sort in FFG.

I assume you are looking for security with a gated community. As I posted I didn't think that was necessary in FFG. However, I will give you a word of caution about buying here. Beware of the the local realtors. Don't depend on a buyer's agent to do anything more than show you houses. Whatever needs to be done make sure you check on it and verify. Secondly, make sure you read your disclosure carefully and verify that all remedies are completed before buying. One example is; termites; here in TN it is not required to do a complete termite treatment. Partial treatments are acceptable. However on the RE termite form at closing it will not state that a partial treatment was performed leaving the buyer to assume that a complete treatment was done. Several months later the termite agent will come around and will inform you of this recommending a complete treatment. In TN, really let the buyer beware.
