For the first time ever, the number of annual visitors to Burgess Falls topped 200,000, which is triple the number there were ten years ago. And no wonder. The small park, located just a few miles SW of Cookeville, is home to two gorgeous waterfalls and a series of river cascades, all set amidst beautiful forests and cliffs. It's just a day park--no camping or overnight stays allowed. And it doesn't have a restaurant or a nature center. But it's well worth the trip.

Last time I was their... rubber hose & car counter across entrance to park.

People swimming at the base of falls... about a mile plus hike.
